I enjoy the challenge of combining art and technology to tell a story, express an idea, or evoke an emotion. I have been granted permission to showcase these projects which I was involved in.
This was an animation I did over the Christmas break 2016 in Blender. I modelled the Minifig, but the house comes from lego digital designer. This was my first animation, although I had done modelling and rendering before. It was a blast, and I hope to continue doing more animation soon.
This was the first project I did with the group, The Non-Typicals. It was a very non-typical shoot. I did the writing before the shoot, and the shoot was crazy. But we still had so much fun. I was in charge of running audio, script supervisor, cinematography and assisting the director. To make things more interesting, we used 3 cameras for every shot, which added challenges to lighting and planning shots. The shoot lasted 4 hours, and it took about the same amount of time to edit and publish.
This video was produced by a consulting company as part of a submission for a national competition. It was filmed with limited time and budget! My main role was managing the camera during filming which included giving feedback on sound and lighting. I also acted as a consultant/educator during the editing of this video.
This is the first short film I was ever involved in. I originally had no intention of being a part of this project but one thing led to another and I ended up being responsible for the cinematography and the editing for this film. This project ignited my passion for filmmaking and encouraged me to pursue other art forms.
I really appreciate your feedback.
